We were honored to get the call from Victims Outreach to host their breakfast honoring Jil Katz, the North Dallas woman who has used her story to help others heal from physical and emotional abuse. In February, 2010, Jil was viciously attacked and beaten in a Whole Foods parking lot by a man who wanted only her wedding ring. This senseless and horrific attack left the Dallas community shocked and Jil and her family broken. Two years later, with the help of Victims Outreach, law enforcement, and the support of her friends, family, and community, Jil is healing and speaking out about her experience, encouraging other victims to get help. Andrew Ormsby at Cityplace Events hosted a breakfast and a presentation interview with Jil who spoke candidly and reverently about the pain and healing she has gone through. The attendees were some of Dallas’ most influential professionals in politics, business, law, and social scene. We congratulate Jil and Victims Outreach on a very successful and significant event.

When Cityplace Events saw the growing trend for Loft spaces, we took full advantage of additional space becoming available on the 42nd floor. One of the many reasons this space has become so popular for events is because it is the only Loft event-space located at the top of a highrise with panoramic views. What’s more, it comes along with convenient and complimentary garage parking. You get all the trendiness of a loft’s “urban chic” feel without having to go to the urban jungle! We just completed numerous wonderful new upgrades featuring complete draping of the walls and ceiling along with the addition of crystal chandeliers throughout. Can’t you imagine your next event here?
Cityplace Events has recently upgraded our Amphitheater rear-screen projection system. We are now the proud owners of a Christie 5000 Lumen HD Rear-screen Projector with 1080p capabilities! Bring your Blu-Ray and put it to the test…it’s that good!
Paired with a comprehensive Wi-Fi system with 100MB upload/download rates (faster than T3 speed), Cityplace is THE destination to accommodate the audio/visual needs for your next conference!
